We have an immediate opening for a ColdFusion Developer to join our team in Seattle. Job Description: The Developer will work as part of a growing software development team. The position requires strong organizational, development, and interpersonal skills. You must be able to develop applications under set deadlines and communicate well with other members of the development team. The position will consist largely of coding in ColdFusion MX. Responsibilities Include: • Develop applications and code in CF MX 7 under set timelines and technical specifications • Create technical specifications documents as well as other forms of documentation • Work directly with clients to implement application features Required Experience: • Good knowledge of MySQL or other DB, Java and Cold Fusion • Good experience with stored procedures, schema, triggers, tables, etc. • Data modeling experience • 1+ years ColdFusion MX or similar development experience Desired • 1+ years working with MySQL • 2+ years HTML • 1+ years CSS (positioning, font management, layout) • 1+ years XML, XSLT • 1+ years JavaScript • BS / MS in Computer Science or MIS degree (or equivalent) is required Desired Experience: • Demonstrable expertise with Object Oriented Programming • Experience with VB, C#, C++, or Java • Ruby • Interest in Agile Development • Interest in AJAX • Experience with 24/7 database support, tuning, performance optimization, server alerts and monitoring • Some understanding of database back-ups, maintenance, and disaster recovery Peak offers a competitive salary and benefits package including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), paid holidays and vacation time.
