Founded in 1987, Car Toys operates in more than 50 locations throughout Washington, Oregon, Colorado, and Texas. Primary Responsibilities: The eCommerce Developer, provides Web application development, database design & maintenance, software architecture and application monitoring for the company’s eCommerce platforms. Other duties as assigned. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Utilize web application development experience to fully utilize the following web technologies: Adobe Cold Fusion, Ajax / JavaScript, Java/J2EE, Microsoft SQL Server / T-SQL, Web Services, XML, CSS, HTML, Subversion / Source code control, etc Support agile software development methodologies in a traditional dev, test and stage environment through an ability to employ industry best practices Design intuitive and easy-to-navigate web-based user interfaces Adjust to constantly evolving priorities and assigned tasks Requirements: Minimum age of 18 Authorization to work in the U.S. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred 5 years of Web application development experience Demonstrated leadership, communication and time management skills Ability to work effectively across all organizational levels (internal & external), including both technical and non-technical personnel Proven development of Ajax-enabled, interactive user interfaces Experience with common application development frameworks Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work well under stressful conditions and meet evolving deadlines Comprehensive Benefits Package: Health-care coverage 401(k) with company match Company Paid Commuter Program Paid Holidays Drug Screening: This position is covered by company drug and alcohol policy and subject to pre-employment drug testing.
