Functional Verification with Selenium - Ryan Miller

Changing topics from our nominally scheduled "infrastructure and scaleability", we now will take a look at a great program for all developers. Special thanks to our PDX CFUG friends for the suggestion.

Selenium is a free tool to run functional tests in almost any web browser. Learn how to get setup quickly and easily with Selenium. This is a must-have tool for every web developer. Imagine never having to manually click through a multi-step login or shopping process. Imagine being able to test all the functionality of your site automatically after a major update.

Ryan Miller is the lead developer for the Web Services Team at Mentor Graphics. In his spare time he enjoys long debugging sessions, extreme programming all night long, and passionate, intense code writing. He lives in Hillsboro, Oregon with his beautiful wife Sarah and crazed infant son Elliot. Ryan will be joining us via a live Breeze meeting.
