Hello fellow coldfusioners!

Our meeting this Thursday will have three main parts:

1. Roundup of CFUnited (thoughts, impressions, stories, etc.)

2. Intro to CF: Installing and configuring ColdFusion (this will probably have to be a multi-part topic but let’s see how it goes)

3. Main topic: CF9!

With CF9 scheduled to be released by the end of the year, we thought it would be a good time to review installing and configuring a ColdFusion server. This is going to be a high level overview of one strategy to take to deploy a secure, multi-instance version of ColdFusion. This will hopefully spark some discussion on what strategies are used in the group to deploy production applications using CF. We will begin with a fresh install of Windows Server, and walk through each step of the install and configuration process.

If you have a laptop that doesn’t already have an install of CF running locally, you are encouraged to bring it!
